Cancellations, modifications and refunds

In the event that the passenger or passengers do not show up at the time and place indicated on the reservation form, the taxi will wait for 20 minutes, if the taxi does not appear it will leave and the money will not be returned in any case of the reserve.

You can cancel a reservation with a minimum of 12 hours in advance.

You can modify the details of your tour with a minimum of 2 hours in advance, by calling 932 028 800.

Yes, you can request changes (date, time, etc.) by contacting us by email at hello@taxitourspain.com or calling +34 618 59 44 08 (Monday, 9 a.m. to 18 p.m.). Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled start time. All changes are subject to availability and may result in price changes. Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice will not be accepted. (See T&Cs, Section 6.3)

Our cancellation policy is as follows: (See T&C, Point 6.1)

  • If you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the service: We will refund 90% of the amount. The remaining 10% will be retained for processing fees and bank charges.
  • If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours before the start date: A 20% penalty will apply.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up (No Show): There will be no right to a refund (100% penalty).

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a service due to force majeure, operational impossibility, severe weather conditions, or failure to meet a minimum number of participants (if applicable and indicated), we will offer you the option of rescheduling you to another date/time (subject to availability) or fully refund your payment within 24-48 business hours. We treat your personal data with the utmost seriousness and in compliance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD. We use it to manage your reservation, provide the service, billing, and, if you consent, to send you communications. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, etc., by contacting us. During the Tour

TaxitourSpain offers a 15-minute courtesy waiting period at the pickup point after the scheduled pickup time. If the passenger fails to show up after this time, the service may be considered a "No Show" and the corresponding cancellation policy will apply (with no refund). We strongly recommend being punctual. (See T&Cs, Sections 5.2, 6.1, and 6.2)

If the experience exceeds the maximum contracted time due to reasons attributable to the user, a €10 surcharge may apply for every 15 minutes overtime. This surcharge will be paid directly to the driver. The driver will inform the user of this situation in advance, and the possibility of extending the time will be subject to operational availability. Extended time is subject to operational availability (vehicle and driver), and there is no guarantee that it can be extended if another service is scheduled. (See T&C, Section 5.2)

Yes, children and babies of any age occupy a seat for all legal purposes and vehicle capacity requirements. They must use an approved Child Restraint System (CRS) appropriate for their weight and size. If you need a specific CRS (baby seat, booster seat), you must specifically request it when making your reservation so we can verify its availability. (See T&Cs, Section 5.3) 

Pets are not allowed in vehicles. The only exception is duly accredited guide or assistance dogs accompanying people with disabilities. In this case, it is essential that you inform us of this circumstance when making your reservation to confirm it and ensure that a suitable vehicle is assigned. (See T&Cs, Section 5.3)

For sightseeing tours, one standard piece of luggage per passenger, such as a carry-on suitcase or backpack, is allowed. If you plan to bring bulky or special luggage (e.g., large strollers, sports equipment), please contact us prior to booking so we can assess the feasibility and whether a larger vehicle or any additional charges are necessary. As a passenger, you agree to comply with the pick-up time, follow the driver's safety instructions, not endanger safety, not smoke, not consume illegal substances or excessive alcohol, not damage the vehicle, maintain respectful behavior, and take care of your belongings. Minors in your care must also comply with these rules. (See T&Cs, Section 7.1)

No. TaxitourSpain tours are pre-planned and structured tourist experiences. Upon booking, all stops are included and the service is fixed. Conventional urban or intercity transfers are not included. For these types of services, please contact www.eltaxi033.com (See T&C, Point 5.1)

Guarantees and insurance

For now we do not have this type of insurance, beyond the taxi's own car insurance. But we are working to extend the coverage to our clients and obtain one with the best value for money.

Of course! All our taxi drivers speak both Spanish and English, thus facilitating communication with the different clients who want to enjoy the routes offered by TaxiTour.

The company and Vehicles

Yes, all our services are provided in official, duly authorized taxi vehicles, with all necessary licenses and mandatory civil liability and passenger insurance, in accordance with current Spanish legislation. (See T&Cs, Section 5.1)

We have a varied fleet that includes standard vehicles and, depending on the city, vehicles with up to 7 or 8 seats (minivans) and taxis adapted for people with reduced mobility (Eurotaxis). Prices and Payments

The prices of each tour are different in each case. Check the prices in the "Tours" section of the website by accessing their interior, since the price indicated outside is for 1 person only and varies depending on the passengers.

The final price displayed and payable upon booking corresponds to the full service for the vehicle type and the maximum capacity available for that vehicle. This price is fixed for the contracted service, regardless of whether fewer people travel than the vehicle's maximum capacity (always without exceeding it). (See T&Cs, Section 4)

The price includes the tour in an official taxi, the service of a professional driver, and VAT. The maximum tour duration is specified in each experience's listing. Unless expressly stated, admission to monuments or attractions, meals, drinks, and any other unspecified extra services are not included. (See T&Cs, Section 4)

Payment must be made in full in advance during the online booking process. We accept credit/debit card payments through our secure gateways (Stripe, Paycomet, and Banco Sabadell). Other payment methods may be available and will be indicated on the website. (See T&Cs, Section 4)

Yes, you can request a detailed invoice for the service you purchased by sending an email to hello@taxitourspain.com, including your complete tax information. (See T&Cs, Section 4)

If it is a "standard" baby stroller, there is no problem in being able to store it in the trunk of the taxi. If the baby stroller is double (for twins) or larger than average, you must call 932 028 800.

Booking

Simply select the route or experience you're interested in, review the details (itinerary, duration, etc.), complete the booking form with your information (name, contact information, desired date and time, number of passengers), and submit the payment. Once your booking has been processed and availability confirmed, you will receive an email confirming your reservation and meeting point details. (See T&Cs, Section 3.1)

Yes, you must be over 18 years old to make a reservation. Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult during the tour. (See T&Cs, Section 3.2)

You will need to provide your full name, contact information (phone number and email address), the desired date and time of the tour, the pickup point, the number of passengers (including children), and, if applicable, any specific requirements, such as child restraints or whether you are traveling with a guide dog. Yes, once you've completed the booking and payment process, and we've confirmed operational availability, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details of your service, including the booking code and meeting point. (See T&Cs, Section 3.1)
